# Welcome ![](/files/XwQ68820q836GMn95lMo) ### **Introduction** SkyLands is a play to earn game based on Binance Smart Chain. \ It is a virtual world in which players interact with each other through their own “[Land NFTs](/skylands/land-nfts-game-access-mint.md)”, and have the opportunity to earn money and build while playing, just by having their own [Land NFT](/skylands/land-nfts-game-access-mint.md).\ \ As a player you can buy digital assets [Land NFTs](/skylands/land-nfts-game-access-mint.md) (Non-Fungible Tokens, aka NFTs) {% embed url="" %} ### [Game Access](/skylands/land-nfts-game-access-mint.md) Owning a [Land NFT](/skylands/land-nfts-game-access-mint.md) will bring many passive rewards to the owners. Our [Land NFTs](/skylands/land-nfts-game-access-mint.md) also unlocks the Play-To-Earn ability of the SkyLands game. By minting/buying any of our initial minted NFTs you will be granted access to the game for as long as you own it. ### Passive Income: NFT Staking By holding [Land NFTs](/skylands/land-nfts-game-access-mint.md) you will be able to receive passive income rewards from the volume on our NFT marketplace. It works by charging 10% on every NFT sale, once a sale occurs it spreads out 5% to every owner of our NFTs at the time of purchase, 2% goes to the original minters and 3% goes to the team (Devs, Marketing).
